The International Training Program on Building Leadership for Digital Transformation and Cyber Resilience Culture, hosted by the Global Cybersecurity Community Forum (GCCF), successfully concluded on May 15, 2025, at the AIT Conference Center, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand.
Held over five intensive days from May 11 to 15, 2025, the program brought together a diverse cohort of participants and speakers from Nepal, the Philippines, Thailand, and Zimbabwe, representing sectors ranging from government, banking and finance, higher education, telecommunications, to critical infrastructure. This international training program was designed to empower current and emerging leaders with the strategic insights and practical tools necessary to lead secure digital transformation initiatives in today’s complex threat landscape. The sessions provided a unique blend of theory, policy discourse, and actionable frameworks focusing on cybersecurity governance, resilience strategies, leadership development, and cross-sectoral collaboration.
Participants benefited from:
Hands-on workshops led by global experts on risk-based decision making, zero-trust architecture, and digital governance.
Case studies highlighting real-world incidents and response mechanisms in different geopolitical contexts
Interactive panels and discussions exploring the evolving role of leadership in building cyber-resilient digital ecosystems
Networking opportunities that fostered new partnerships and collaboration among cybersecurity professionals across Asia and Africa.
The training emphasized the importance of cultivating a cyber resilience culture, encouraging participants to think beyond technology and adopt a people-process-technology approach to managing cyber risks and enabling trustworthy digital innovation.
The Global Cybersecurity Community Forum sincerely thanks the AIT Conference Center for its outstanding support and warm hospitality. We also extend our deep appreciation to all participants, speakers, and partners whose contributions made the event a remarkable success. Special thanks go to Dr. Anish Ghimire, Assistant Professor, Asian Institute of Technology for his valuable support. The energy and spirit of collaboration cultivated during the program are expected to drive future regional and global initiatives in cybersecurity leadership and digital resilience.
As the digital landscape continues to evolve, programs like this play a critical role in preparing leaders to proactively address emerging threats, build organizational resilience, and contribute to a more secure and inclusive digital future.
