The International Workshop on Building Leadership for Digital Transformation: Strengthening Cyber Resilience, Privacy and Trust, hosted by the Global Cybersecurity Community Forum (GCCF), successfully concluded on June 24, 2025, at the AIT Conference Center, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand. Held over three dynamic days from June 22 to 24, 2025, the workshop convened distinguished speakers and participants from Nepal, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, New Zealand, and the United States, representing sectors such as academia, government, banking and finance, critical infrastructure, and digital enterprises. 

This international event focused on advancing leadership in digital transformation by strengthening capabilities in cyber resilience, privacy protection, and digital trust. The program aimed to equip leaders and practitioners with the tools and knowledge necessary to respond to today’s evolving cybersecurity threats and governance challenges.

Participants benefited from:

  • Thought-provoking keynote addresses and strategic dialogues exploring leadership roles in digital governance and public-private partnerships for cybersecurity.

  • Hands-on sessions covering modern threat landscapes, the Rubik’s Cube model of information security, data privacy best practices, and incident response readiness.

  • Case-based learning and expert panels on cybersecurity trends, regulatory compliance, and trust-centric innovation strategies.

  • Collaborative workshops and networking opportunities fostering regional and cross-border cooperation among cybersecurity professionals.

The workshop emphasized the need to embed a security-by-design mindset into digital initiatives while also cultivating a people-process-technology approach for sustainable resilience. Practical frameworks for cyber risk management, digital ethics, and crisis preparedness were discussed in detail.

The International Training Program on Building Leadership for Digital Transformation and Cyber Resilience Culture, hosted by the Global Cybersecurity Community Forum (GCCF), successfully concluded on May 15, 2025, at the AIT Conference Center, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand.

Held over five intensive days from May 11 to 15, 2025, the program brought together a diverse cohort of participants and speakers from Nepal, the Philippines, Thailand, and Zimbabwe, representing sectors ranging from government, banking and finance, higher education, telecommunications, to critical infrastructure.This international training program was designed to empower current and emerging leaders with the strategic insights and practical tools necessary to lead secure digital transformation initiatives in today’s complex threat landscape. The sessions provided a unique blend of theory, policy discourse, and actionable frameworks focusing on cybersecurity governance, resilience strategies, leadership development, and cross-sectoral collaboration.

Participants benefited from:

  • Hands-on workshops led by global experts on risk-based decision making, zero-trust architecture, and digital governance.

  • Case studies highlighting real-world incidents and response mechanisms in different geopolitical contexts

  • Interactive panels and discussions exploring the evolving role of leadership in building cyber-resilient digital ecosystems

  • Networking opportunities that fostered new partnerships and collaboration among cybersecurity professionals across Asia and Africa.

The training emphasized the importance of cultivating a cyber resilience culture, encouraging participants to think beyond technology and adopt a people-process-technology approach to managing cyber risks and enabling trustworthy digital innovation.
